Land Information:

This farm was purchased by Wayne & Elanor Bennett in 1964 from Wayne's aunt. Jerry & Jackie purchased the farm from Jerry's parents in 2004.

Barn Information:

This barn was built as a 20 stanchion dairy barn in 1950. The dairy cows left the farm in 1988. The barn is now for hay & machinery storage. It is constructed with cement block walls and wood. Most of the lumber used for this barn was home sawed right off the family farm. The only known purchased lumber was the arched rafters and the planed pine boards used to finish the end walls of the barn.
