Hospital Committee

Committee Description

This committee makes recommendations and decisions regarding the provision of healthcare services, including equipment and technology, staffing levels, location development and expansion and compensation levels for the employees and contracted personnel of the hospital and clinics.

This committee reviews policy and procedure changes, bylaw updates and privilege granting and/or revocation of medical personnel at MHLC and the clinics to ensure that MHLC and its departments are in compliance with the direction from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for the hospital, primary and specialty care clinics, rural health clinics and emergency department.

This committee provides advice, development and direction in regards to new service lines, removal of existing service lines, expansion of hospital, specialty and outpatient primary care services and locations and alternate models of payment available in the healthcare arena.

This committee consists of five County Board Supervisors, Hospital Chief of Staff and three Lay members
