HOUSING AUTHORITY PROGRAMS

Lafayette County Housing Authority (LCHA) owns and operate a total of 85 units in scattered sites across Lafayette County, administering two housing programs, which include: 85 Section 8 – New Construction/Multi-Family units, and 55 - Section 8 – Housing Choice Vouchers.

 

Multi-Family Housing

LCHA owns and manages 85 units in this program, which are located in seven buildings in various towns throughout the county, for the elderly and disabled.  Of the 85 units, there are 68 one bedroom units, fourteen of those being handicap equipped; and there are 17 two-bedroom units.

 

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher

LCHA administers 55 Housing Choice Vouchers in Lafayette County.
