Welcome to the Lafayette County Veterans Service Office. Our mission is to assist veterans and their families with obtaining local, state and federal benefits. We help them discover the benefits to which they are entitled and assist them with the application process. The Lafayette County Veterans Service Office is committed to advocate for veterans, provide quality services and programs for them and their families.

Federal Benefits

Veteran Office can help assist in obtaining multiple federal benefits for eligible veterans that include

1. Burial Allowance Benefits and Government Monuments
2. Dependency and Indemnity (DIC) and Death Pension
3. Non-Service Connected Disability Pension Benefits
4. Healthcare Benefit through VA Health Care System
5. Service Connected Disability Compensation Benefits including sexual trauma claims
6. Service Disabled Veterans Insurance (RH) claims and policy changes
