Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County (MHLC)

MHLC was built in 1952 and continues to grow to meet the health care needs of Lafayette County citizens and the surrounding area. As a 25-bed acute care critical access MHLC Logohospital, including 24 hour emergency care, urgent care, medical and surgical services, rehab services, lab, x-ray  and outpatient physician specialist clinics. MHLC provides a full range of acute care inpatient and outpatient services. Inpatient services include medical care, major and minor surgery, orthopedics, cardiac care and pharmacy services. Outpatient services include a multi slice CT scan, ultrasound, peripheral vascular testing, ACR and MQSA accredited mammography program, MRI & MRA scans, nuclear medicine, PET/CT scan, bone densitometry, general radiography, extensive lab services, cardiac & pulmonary rehab, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, dietary counseling, and day care surgeries. The Outpatient Clinic has specialty providers available to see patients in Audiology, Cardiology, Cardiac Pacer Clinic, Cardithoracic Surgery, Diabetic Education, Nephology, Endocrinology, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pain Management,Podiatry, Urology and Vascular Surgery. MHLC also receives services from Nurse Anesthetists, Pathologist, Pharmacist and Radiologists.
 
MHLC has an active, state of the art, Trauma Level 4 Emergency Department accessible 24 hours a day and staffed by ACLS certified physicians and RN's working in cooperation with Lafayette County community rescue squads. The ER also offers convenient urgent care hours on weekends and holidays.
 
The community and wellness programs available at MHLC include Lymph Edema and Incontinence programs, Smoking Cessation, Club Scrub Job Shadowing, and Volunteer program.
 
Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County is graciously served by the volunteers of the Memorial Healthcare Foundation and the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for support and fundraising needs.   MHLC is unique in the fact that it is one of only two County owned hospitals in the state of WI.   MHLC continues to be one of Lafayette County’s largest employers with over 100 staff members and has services of more than 50 medical and specialty providers.
