Lafayette County’s LWRM Plan is to provide guidance towards general program direction for the next ten years to the Lafayette County Land Conservation Department. The plan is required in order for Lafayette County to receive state aid for staffing and cost share grant funding for the technical assistance and installation of soil & water conservation practices. The LWRM plan consists of a county overview with existing conditions & resource concerns, plan development process, land & water conservation programs and plan implementation strategy to achieve those goals.
The LWRM Plan was updated and approved in 2016.
