Tapestry

Tapestry is meant to be used by the occasional real estate professional or by those of the general public who have a good real estate understanding.

What records can I access?

In Lafayette County, the index of deeds and mortgages recorded beginning in 1961 are available online.  Bonds and contracts beginning in 1847 are available online. For older deeds or mortgages, you must visit the Register of Deeds office.

What equipment do I need?

You will need an internet browser that supports TLS 1.2 protocol. This includes the following browsers: Microsoft Edge (Any version), Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 11 or higher), Mozilla Firefox (Version 27 or higher), Google Chrome (Version 38 or higher), Google Android OS Browser (Android 5.0 or higher), Apple Safari (Desktop Version 7 or higher, Mobile Version 5 or higher). You will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader to display document images.

You will also need to set up a credit card account when first logging in to the program.

What are the fees?

You pay $8.75 for a search by name, legal description, document number, date range or document type. Each search can give you up to 200 listings. You can look at the detailed information about each document free of charge.  If you want to view an image, the cost is $1.00 per page (which includes the cost of printing).  Accounts may be set up with Fidlar software using your major credit card.
