Executive, Rules and Legislation Committee

Committee Description

This Committee shall be comprised of five County Board members.  The Second Vice Chair of the County Board of Supervisors is the Chair of this committee. This Committee meets as needed.  It shall be the duty of this Committee to look after and have charge of all miscellaneous matters, policies and legislation pertaining to the interest of the County.  It shall keep the County Board advised and informed as to all pending legislation affecting County government and review all resolutions received from other counties for action, decision and referral to other standing committees.  This Committee shall recommend the standing rules of the County Board and recommend revisions of these rules when deemed advisable.  This Committee shall have jurisdiction over all matters related to the judicial and legislative functions of County government as they apply to the respective departments and agencies of the County.
